We expect our initial run of winches to be dispatched in late September.

When will pre-orders be shipped?

At this point, we are flat out producing our X4-2SP. It is definitely a gap in our range not having a twin motor, but it is something we would like to develop... maybe next year...

Are there plans for a twin motor?

Are they air braked? And, if so, is it air to apply or release?

The brake is mechanically actuated and sits in an oil bath as an inherent part of the design, it requires no additional air lines, wires or control system.

All of our winches have a free spool. A spring shifts it to the engaged position, while air shifts to free. If you lose air, it fails to the engaged position.

Are they air free spool standard?

The 2 speed mechanism has a spring which shifts it to low gear. It is pneumatically shifted to high gear via a single air line. If the air line happened to be damaged, it fails to a safe condition by spring selecting the low gear.

How is the gear selection made?

The winch can be fitted with 12V or 24V motors. Most of the teams who race in Australia run a 12v motor on 24v. They are a little faster and more powerful that way, but they are not as robust and can self-destruct if you allow them to spin up without load.

Will there be 12 and 24 volt options?

What motors and electrical set-up do you recommend?

There are a variety of winch motors which can be used on our winch. We recommend utilising 4x large AGM batteries of at least 1000CCA. From a cabling perspective, we recommend 4x120mm2 cables for positive and 4x120mm2 cables for negative.

The X4-2sp weighs 40kg without motors. Motors typically add 13kg each depending on variety installed.

How much does the winch weigh?

What is your winch rated to? Can it pull 25,000lbs?

As winch performance is dependent on your electrical set-up, we are unable to make claims regarding ultimate line pull ratings. That said, when designing the most heavily stressed areas of our geartrain, we targeted a gear strength of twice that of comparable race winches.

We have key partners on board already, so keep an eye on our socials for more great content showing this winch off in future events!

Are you offering sponsorships?

Our winches do not currently come supplied with motors. We can assist with sourcing motors and associated components if you like.

Does the winch come with motors?

Are they available in Europe/Outside of Australia?

Yes! Absolutely! We can ship worldwide, contact us for details.
